What is air spring air tightness test?

2. The air tightness of air springs can be tested by air pressure test. After maintaining the test pressure for a period of time, the pressure drop of the spring should not be greater than 10% of the test pressure.

The air spring consists of accessories such as the upper cover, rubber bag, rubber pile, lower seat, throttle valve and O-ring. There will be threaded holes on the upper cover of the air spring. When the air spring is tested for tightness, a tooling fixture can be made according to its shape, and then a threaded hole in the upper cover is used as the inflation hole. If there are other holes on the upper cover, seal it before doing the air tightness test.
