What is air spring air tightness test?

Air spring air tightness test, air spring is filled with compressed air in a sealed container, and uses the compressibility of gas to achieve its elastic effect. 2. The air tightness of air springs can be tested by air pressure test. After maintaining the test pressure for a period of time, the pressure drop of the spring should not be greater than 10% of the test pressure.

The air spring consists of accessories such as the upper cover, rubber bag, rubber pile, lower seat, throttle valve and O-ring. There will be threaded holes on the upper cover of the air spring. When the air spring is tested for tightness, a tooling fixture can be made according to its shape, and then a threaded hole in the upper cover is used as the inflation hole. If there are other holes on the upper cover, seal it before doing the air tightness test.
