Air spring shock absorber uses compressed air as elastic medium, absorbs road impact energy through deformation of rubber airbag, and replaces traditional steel spring or hydraulic shock absorber. Its core advantages are:
1. Height and stiffness adjustability: By adjusting the air pressure in the airbag, the shock absorber support height and hardness can be dynamically adjusted to adapt to different road conditions and loads.

Specific application methods in Renault truck cab
Air spring shock absorber is usually installed in a four-point suspension system connecting the cab and the frame (front 2 rear 2 or front 2 rear 1 layout). The system includes:
Air airbag: core elastic element, bears the weight of the cab and buffers impact.
