What are Trailer Suspension Air Springs?

Trailer suspension air springs, often called auxiliary air springs or air suspension kits, are not intended to completely replace the original leaf springs or torsion beam suspension. Instead, they are installed as an auxiliary system.

The core component is a rubber airbag installed between the axle and the trailer frame. By inflating or deflating compressed air into the airbag, the height and support force of the airbag can be adjusted, thereby assisting the original suspension system.
