For membrane type: The piston shape (such as cone, step shape) of the membrane air spring directly affects the elastic characteristics.
4. Sealing component
Airtight layer: The rubber layer on the inner wall of the airbag prevents air leakage.
Metal pressure ring: The edge of the rubber airbag is tightly fixed to the cover plate/piston through the vulcanization process.
5. Additional components (according to application requirements)
Air pipeline: Connect the air source for inflation and deflation.
Height valve: Automatically adjust the air pressure in the airbag to maintain the height of the vehicle body.
Integrated shock absorber: Some designs have built-in dampers (such as passenger car air suspension).
Working principle
After inflation, the airbag expands to form an elastic support; when the load increases, the air pressure increases to provide greater bearing capacity, while absorbing vibrations through deformation. The adjustability of air pressure allows dynamic adjustment of stiffness and height.
